October International Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2022
October is past, awareness-raising efforts continue!
October is recognized worldwide as breast cancer awareness month, as we all know. It has a strong emphasis on raising awareness among the entire society, including all genders, age groups, and social strata.
I have had the good fortune to be able to give back to society and do my part. I feel content that I was able to raise awareness among young students, elders, teachers, working women, nurses, social workers, young mothers, and doctors after numerous breast check-up camps and awanreness talks in and around the city of Nagpur. However, a sense of unfinishedness persists, which gives me the drive to keep promoting the idea that early detection is the key. As the “backbone of the society” and the “pillar of strength” for our families, women frequently forget to take care of themselves. My main objective in conducting all of these camps and lectures was to teach these women the 5-minute breast care (self-breast examination). My entire team made sure that we reached the masses through radio/Aakashwani and press articles in addition to camps and talks. I want to express my gratitude to everyone on my team at Panacea Clinic for their fantastic work and ongoing support!
